It is with great enthusiasm and congratulations that we announce that our managing partner, M. Jennifer Shaften K.C. has been appointed to the newly renamed, Alberta Court of Justice’s Calgary Family and Youth Division.
Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 1993. Jennifer has had a rewarding career working as a sole practitioner, with Walsh LLP and Legal Aid Alberta, before joining Foster LLP, where she has been a managing partner since 2015. Jennifer’s areas of practice have focused on child representation in high conflict parenting matters, mediation, arbitration, high conflict parenting coordination and child protection litigation.
Jennifer’s pursuit of children’s rights in family law matters has been a hallmark of her distinguished career.
